Difusão Vitrais - 1250: Conservation and Restoration is a family business with over 25 years of tradition in the art of stained glass.
Founded by António Miranda, a renowned master in creating artistic works in glass. Our mission is to preserve and innovate in the art of stained glass, offering a wide range of services including conservation and restoration, glass fusion, glass painting, and ceramics.
From the beginning, António Miranda dedicated himself to creating stained glass panels and fused glass pieces for decoration, architecture, and sacred art projects, with a wide range of works carried out in Portugal. The evolution of the market and the growing demand for the restoration of historical stained glass drove the expansion of our services.
With the arrival of Miguel Miranda, a graduate and master's degree holder in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, currently pursuing a doctorate in the field, Difusão Vitrais incorporated profound scientific knowledge into its vast practical experience. Miguel brought his specialization in stained glass and international experience, acquired in renowned projects such as the Segovia Cathedral and the skylight of the Palacete da Calle de San Marcos in Madrid.
Today, Difusão Vitrais - 1250 combines tradition and innovation in all our projects. We offer services for creating new stained glass panels, as well as the restoration and conservation of historical pieces. We also perform glass fusion, glass painting, and ceramics, using artisanal techniques, including the handmade production of lead came and a vast inventory of hand-blown glass.

Stained Glass Conservator and Restorer
Graduate and master's degree holder in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, currently pursuing a PhD in the field with a specialization in stained glass.
Marta Miranda
Technical Designer
Graduated in Interior Design from ESAD, she collaborates with Difusão Vitrais in the development of technical drawings for new projects. With a special attention to detail, Marta ensures that each creation is unique.
